Specially developed for carp  shing and surf casting, the Athena reel has a graphite frame construction

with a cone-shaped perforated spool made from cold-turned aluminium, a micro-adjustable front drag with

10kg rating and a tubular right/left interchangeable aluminium handle with foam grip. Built to provide smooth

and precise operation, this reel is  tted with twelve ball bearings plus one unlimited anti-reverse roller bearing,

all made from stainless steel and double-shielded. Additional features include a perfectly balanced rotor, a ti-

tanium anti-twist line roller and a ‘worm-shaft’ system for even line winding. Reliable gearing combined with a

gear ratio of 4.6:1 ensures  uid, powerful retrieve.
